Early Life
I was raised in the Four Corners area, specifically in New Mexico, where I developed a love for the outdoors. My family often went on outings to the Colorado mountains, the Phoenix Valley, and Utah. After graduating high school, my parents moved to Phoenix, but I stayed in New Mexico to attend school and work with various companies. During this time, I discovered the insurance industry and realized it was my niche. After getting married, my husband and I decided to move closer to Phoenix to be near our family. We enjoy the heat and lazy days by the pool.
Work Experience
As a young girl, I always loved pretending to be a professional, even dressing up in my “professional pants.” My parents instilled in me the value of hard work, often working long hours to support my siblings and me. My sister and I were responsible for taking care of our younger siblings while our parents worked nights. This experience was like being a nanny to my younger brothers, who were 3 and 9 years younger.
When I entered the formal workforce, I became a host at a popular local restaurant. My work ethic caught the attention of many customers, leading to job offers. I eventually worked two jobs, gaining valuable skills. This led to my first experience in the insurance industry, where I became the office manager of an insurance agency. I assisted in all aspects of insurance and found a career I truly enjoyed. Now, I’m happy to have found a home with the Insurance Brokers of Arizona®, fulfilling my desire to be near family.
Hobbies
My interests revolve around what is most important to me: family. We enjoy outdoor activities such as Jeeping, hiking, four-wheeling, and dirt biking. We also love spending time at home, relaxing by the pool, or watching movies together. Keeping my mind and body healthy is a priority, so I go to the gym regularly, spend time with family, and enjoy chasing my niece and nephews around.
