Early Life
I grew up in upstate New York with 5 siblings. During my childhood I learned to love the outdoors and animals. I was the middle child and definitely was the mediator and I supported fairness in all situations. Even though I rarely got it…LOL! When I turned 18 my father asked me if I wanted to move to Arizona with him and I was all in for the warmer weather. So I tagged along and never looked back. I learned to be a sun worshipper and decided I like it better than the snow.
I also met my best friend here, George who is now my husband. We have been happily married since 1985 and we are still best friends! We did not have children but throughout the years we have adopted many pets from the shelter. Our current family has just one cat by the name of Vivian (from the movie “Pretty Woman”). She was abused but is now the Princess of our home and definitely thrives in the title. We plan on giving her a brother and sister in the near future but we haven’t broken the news to her as of yet.
Work Experience
After school I started my career working in the medical administration field for several years. Then a friend of mine decided to open an American Family Insurance agency and asked me if I would be willing to help her. Before I knew it I was a licensed agent and practically running the agency while she was marketing. Then I learned that working with a broker will really expand the options that I can offer to my clients and I will be able to help people with saving money on their insurance premiums even more. So I have been working for brokers for several years. Now I am very excited to be a part of the awesome team at Insurance Brokers of Arizona®.
Hobbies
My husband and I love to travel and explore. We have seen a majority of our country and Canada. In the future we want to take more trips abroad and explore other countries. Also, we are very active in our non-denominational church and volunteer for various causes thru our church. We love to hike and spend time on the beach whenever we can.
